Lens Cap Day Merch on the Rise

You know how t-shirts are now advertising space?
Well check out these creative lens caps.
In preparation for what is sure to be the most successful Lens Cap Day yet, several designers are getting their Lens Cap merch on. I fully support this effort since it is much easier for me to spot a lens cap snafu when flying at 1,000 feet if the lens caps are colorfully displayed.

    If only Genalco Guido had had one of these brightly colored lens caps, his story might have turned out very differently.

    Here is a story from many years ago.

    Year: 1516

    Place: Turin, Italy

    Event: Italian Astronomer and Witchcraft Club (IAWC) meeting

    Speaker: Genalco Guido

    "Thank-you astronomers and witchcraft coven delegates. It is my pleasure to announce that February 18th of this year at 2:46 a.m. I saw a black hole explode in star formation X495SL. Yes, I got a picture. Only thing is, I forgot to remove the lens cap before I depressed the shutter release button. But take my word for it, the most interesting photo in the history of heavenology was taken by me."
